Privacy policy

Effective October 16, 2026 ยท Life, Apparently Brand by Danielle Blenkush

Who is responsible

Life, Apparently Brand by Danielle Blenkush provides Life, Apparently Co-Parenting Edition and acts as the data controller for personal information used to operate the service. Paddle.com is our Merchant of Record for paid orders and acts separately in connection with the sale and payment processing of subscriptions. For support or privacy requests, contact Lifeapparentlybrand@gmail.com.

Information and purposes

Account information includes names, email addresses and sign-in information, used to create accounts, authenticate access and identify circle members. Circle information includes family roles, invitations, custody schedules, ride arrangements, messages and read status, expenses, bills, requests, trips and uploaded documents, used to provide shared planning and records.

Kid profiles may include names, health information such as allergies and medications, school details, emergency contacts and other information entered by authorized members. These details support the care and coordination requested by the circle. Parents should enter only necessary information they are authorized to share and obtain consent where required.

Drafts submitted to the optional AI tone check are processed to identify potentially hurtful wording and suggest a calmer rewrite. Do not submit unnecessary sensitive information. Service operation may also involve technical information such as IP addresses, device or browser details and error information for reliability, troubleshooting and security.

Legal bases

Where applicable, account and service processing is based on performing our agreement with you. Necessary security and service administration rely on legitimate interests, and required recordkeeping relies on legal obligations. Consent is used where required, including for sensitive information; submitting another person's information does not replace a requirement to obtain their consent or other lawful authority.

Sharing and recipients

Information is shared within your circle according to membership and feature access. Parents choose helper access, and children have limited access. Consider who can read the information before submitting it.

Service providers supporting hosting, authentication, storage, delivery and optional AI processing may process information to provide those functions. We may also share information with professional legal or accounting advisers, or authorities when required by law.

Paddle receives information needed for product sales, subscription management, payment processing, tax compliance and invoicing. Payment details are supplied to Paddle during checkout. Read Paddle's Privacy Policy for its processing.

Data retention and deletion

Life, Apparently Brand by Danielle Blenkush retains account information and shared circle records while the circle remains open, including during read-only access after cancellation or expiration of a trial or subscription. Cancellation stops renewal; it does not close the circle or automatically delete its records.

  • Circle closure and deletion requests: We delete or anonymise eligible personal information within 30 days of an approved circle closure or deletion request.
  • Support correspondence: We retain support messages for 2 years after the last interaction, then delete or anonymise them unless a legal exception applies.
  • Seller billing and accounting records: We retain records we hold for 7 years after the relevant transaction for accounting, tax and compliance purposes, then delete or anonymise them unless continued retention is legally required.

To request closure, deletion or a copy of your information, email Lifeapparentlybrand@gmail.com. Requests are handled by our support team. We verify your identity and authority and assess any effect on other circle members before approving a request. Deleting an individual account does not automatically delete shared records that other members remain entitled to access. Message logs cannot be edited or deleted through ordinary controls, but this does not override valid privacy rights.

We may retain the information necessary to comply with law, a court order, a legal hold or an unresolved dispute beyond these periods, and delete or anonymise it when that reason ends. Information that no longer identifies anyone may be retained. The 30-day deadline applies to eligible information under our control; it does not promise erasure from provider backups within that period. Residual backup copies remain subject to providers' backup retention cycles and are not used for ordinary service access.

Paddle is the Merchant of Record and determines retention of the payment, tax and transaction information it holds under its own Privacy Policy; our periods do not override Paddle's independent legal obligations.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, withdraw consent, and complain to a relevant privacy authority. These rights may be subject to legal exceptions, including information involving other circle members. Direct privacy requests to Life, Apparently Brand by Danielle Blenkush at Lifeapparentlybrand@gmail.com and identify the account and request without sharing passwords or full payment-card details.

Parents are responsible for appropriate permissions and supervision when inviting children or sharing their information. Do not add children or sensitive data without the necessary authority.

Security and browser storage

Keep account credentials private, review circle membership and helper permissions, and use only devices you trust. No online service can promise absolute security. This notice does not assert certification or a specific encryption standard.

Sign-in uses browser storage to maintain your session. Sign-in and checkout providers may use essential cookies or storage for their functions. Browser settings let you manage cookies and site storage; blocking essential storage may prevent sign-in or checkout. This notice does not authorize optional advertising or analytics cookies without any consent required by law.

Optional Family Edition referral measurement

When you arrive from lifeapparentlyplanner.com or its labeled referral link, we ask before storing a random referral code in your browser for up to 30 days. If you allow it, we count the referral and whether a newly created account is confirmed and returns in that browser during that period. Declining does not affect the service. A browser Global Privacy Control signal suppresses this optional prompt.

The private owner report contains daily totals, not visitor names, emails, IP addresses, pages visited or family information. A one-way account identifier prevents duplicate signup attribution. Temporary referral records expire after 30 days and are removed on subsequent measurement activity; anonymous daily totals may remain. Clear the referral code from site storage to stop future attribution. Counts are incomplete when visitors decline, use another browser or do not return after confirming email. They are not a list of individuals or proof someone only browsed.

Updates

We may update this notice as the service or applicable requirements change. The effective date appears above. Review this page before submitting personal or sensitive family information.
